SChool

I am getting to that boredom part of school.  You know where you are starting to where off the getting back to school days.  I am tired and can't wait for Christmas break.  But enough of me.  Is everyone else tired of working?  I just can't wait for snow and two weeks of freedom at Christmas.

Colorado

Well tomorrow we are heading out to Breckenridge Colorado.  I am very excited and cant wait to go.  We are going to be gone for about 10-11 days, We are going to stay in a condo that are friends are not using because they just had a baby. We will stay at our friends house for about 2-3 days and then drive into the mountains.  We are packing a ton!  I can't believe how much stuff that my mom can come up with to bring.  We have our bikes the burly to pull the girls in coolers, TVs to keep the girls happy while in the car and tons and tons of suit cases.  I have no idea how we will fit it all.  But I'm excited.

Missions trip

Over Sun-Wed I was on a missions trip.  It was a very powerful experience for me.  It was a lot of hard work and a lot of serving.  We went to a place called Marie Sandvicks were we heard some story's from the person who ran it that were horrifying.  But it helped all of us to realize that we are not in a perfect world, and that everyone needs the love of Jesus.

We got to pack boxes at second harvest, which mounted to a total of 1401 boxes of food which would go to over a 1000 different service organizations.  We also packed boxes at Feed My Starving Children, where we made enough boxes of food to feed 27 children for a year in some orphanage in another place in the world.

I was so glad that I got to go, there were so many cool experiences and I hope that I will be able to do more in the future.

Off to the races

Tonight we are going to the races.  They are called to outlaw cars.  They go pretty fast and it is on a dirt track so there is dirt and loud noises all over the place.  Tons of dirt goes up into the stands so you have to bring goggles so that it does not get in your eyes.  I'm pretty excited and I am trying to waste time before we go.

My fish

Well I now have a 55 gallon fish tank in my room and a 10 gallon fish tank in my room.  They are a lot of fun but I never knew how much money they cost.   They actually are not as much work as you would think they are.  If you spend enough money upfront it really helps to lower the amount of work.

Sadly I have killed ummm......1....2....3......6.  6 fish have died in my 55 gallon tank.  But I still have 19 others.   In my 10 gallon I have 4 crabs.  2 of them will get up to 6 inches.  My mom wasn't to happy about that but I think she will get used to them.

Paintball

I can't wait to start paintball. I think it is a lot of fun. I love hiding and being the last one left on your team and then trying to win. I have been working on my skills at becoming more aggressive. Sometimes I hide a little too much. But I still think that it's fun

Camp Nathaniel

I can't wait to go to camp this summer. Me and Daniel are going to go fishing. After three years we have it all planed out and know exactly where the fishing spots are. It is also fun because you are like on your own kind of, with the exception of the noncoms. I just love the rugged cabin and the out doors.

Where I wish I was

I really wish that I was in the mountains of Colorado, at the dude ranch that we went to last summer. It was so fun and relaxing, that I was really sad when we had to go home. Now I really want to go back, there are great views and fresh air, and you are being waited on whenever you need something. I really need something relaxing right now, any ideas?

Fish

Well, I now have a 55 Gallon fish tank in my room. It has been really cool to learn about how to take care of the fish. We have had three fish die and we have four left. The fish that we got at first were supposed to be tougher fish but they weren't. So now we have to wait for the tank to get dialed in and ten we should be set to slowly start adding fish. I can't wait because there are so many cool fish.

Reflections

This week has been really hard for me. Not only because of school (surprisingly), but because my grandpa or Bapa died over spring break. There were so many emotions swirling around me throughout this past week that I almost just blanked out. But there were so many good memory's of him that helped me to calm down. He was such a good man and a good influence on my life. I never really knew how much I loved him until he was gone. I was so thankful that I got to know him and I am so glad that I will get to spend eternity with him. But for now I will listen to and try to live out his last words to me,"Caleb, always remember to look up and always follow Jesus."

Math

Today in math we were learning are lesson as usual, when we noticed that my math teacer made a mistake on the problem she was teaching us. One minuet later the same thing happened. And so on and so on for about the next ten minuets. Then while we were doing are homework my teacher asked if I would come help her and another student with a problem because my math teacher did not know how to do it.

This always what seems to happen to me each and every day in my math class. I really like my teacher as a person, yet she has dyslexia, is really bad at word problems, and just happens to be, not very good at math (to put it in respectful terms). I just really hope that by the end of the year I am not just as smart as when I started at the beginning of the year.

My teachers

Here are some quotes from my teachers in the past few days....
"You are the worst class I have ever had!", "Are you trying to sabotage my class?!", "Your class has improved 0% since 6th grade!", "You guys be quite or else your class will all come in tomorrow morning and serve detentions!", "Maybe science class should turn into a class about how you listen in class, huh?!"

Thank you teachers for such good memories these past few days. I just hope I make it through Friday alive.

How do you go to school when your sick?

Have you ever tried to go to school when your sick? It is very hard, and I had first hand experience yesterday. But I am glad I went because I would have missed out on a ton of homework. But also in school we are starting to study FUNGI! We took a piece of bread and wiped it on a surface (in my case the toilet handle) that we thought would be of Fungi and took one piece of the bread we wiped and put it in the dark and the other in the light. After starting that expierament I thought I would be even more sick than I was before.

Being a brother

Sometimes it is hard to be a brother. Your sisters scream and cry and you sometimes want to pound your brother. But there are many good things as well, such as playing with your sisters are playing catch with your brother. But one thing that really bothers me is the nonstop crying of my sisters. But it is getting better, and are home is becoming more peaceful because of it.

Weekend! YAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I was so happy this week to walk off the bus and get home. But when I tried to ocupy the computer two girls were staring at the screen saver and would not even let me get close. So I had to sneak in and wiggle the mouse so it went off and the girls went away. Thus this blog:)
